Ramadan in Guanabana

Ramadan is a crucial period of spiritual reflection, self-improvement, and worship in Islam, serving as one of its five pillars. It involves fasting from dawn to sunset during the ninth Islamic lunar month, focusing on avoiding negative behaviours and fostering patience and spirituality. Fasting begins in the teens, based on health. The period starts with Suhoor (pre-dawn meal) and ends with Iftar (post-sunset meal), promoting unity. It concludes with Eid ul-Fitr, a joyful celebration of gratitude, family, gift-exchange, and charity, commemorating the reception of the Qur'an by Prophet Muhammad, emphasising reflection.

In the spirit of Ramadan, Guanabana offers a unique way to celebrate with their Ramadan Roast (Island Roast). It has garnered attention and accolades, featured by the renowned The InfatuationHot Dinners, and TopJaw. Our culinary prowess, coupled with the unique blend of flavours, including Oak Smoked Jerk Chicken, Jamaican Jerk sauce, and succulent Roast Beef, has made our Roast Dinner a must-try dining experience in Camden.

Ramadan Roast (Island Roast) is available every day during this holy month, accompanied by a selection of refreshing Guanabana mocktails (Guana-Colada, Barbados Spritz, Mojito Mocktailo)  specially crafted for the occasion. It's a special time at Guanabana, not just for the delicious Island Roast and the bespoke mocktails served but also for the opportunity to contribute to a greater cause. With each plate and mocktail sold, Guanabana pledges to donated to Friends of Al Aqsa and World Food Programme, integrating the essential Ramadan practice of charity into their offer. This initiative not only allows patrons to enjoy a wonderful meal and invigorating drinks but also to be a part of a larger, communal effort to support those in need, embodying the true spirit of Ramadan.
